Antenatal Classes for Brisbane North & Surrounds

You are pregnant for nine months, preparing for the birth of your baby, but have you thought about when you bring your baby home and what will happen over the next nine months?

We have worked with hundreds of parents preparing them for parenthood and the ups and downs that come with it.

This unique session provides you with essential knowledge on understanding your baby’s cues and behaviours, how to communicate and care for your baby, getting breastfeeding off to the best start, normal sleep behaviours, looking after yourself, how partners can help and bond with the new baby and where you can go for help. We are passionate about empowering parents to be with normal infant behaviours and setting realistic expectations.

This workshop is ideally attended by both parents to be.

Bookings essential and places are limited. The cost is $160 per couple or $85 per individual (+booking fee if booked through Eventbrite).

Afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided.

We provide antenatal classes for new parents to be at our Samford Valley studio in North Brisbane.

Our antenatal classes are an important health and pregnancy support service that covers what to expect with a newborn baby and help you prepare for what is to come. Especially important for first-time parents.

From breastfeeding through to sleep and self-settling through to journeying through the fourth trimester. We are here to support you as qualified health professionals but also as mum’s ourselves.

Breastfeeding is a very normal and natural process, but it is a learned behaviour, for all involved. We can help you prepare for your breastfeeding journey and to get you off to the best start possible.

We can formulate a personalised plan from immediately after the birth of your baby and through the first 6 weeks.

We can help you with support and advice around sleep and settling a new baby. This is an enormous part of new parenting.

We can help you understand normal infant behaviour as you all navigate your way through the Fourth Trimester.

The Parenting Place is passionate about continuity of care and ensuring you see the same friendly faces each time.

We’d love to meet you before baby arrives and continue to support you after baby arrives with our postnatal services.

Call us to discuss how we can work with you.

We are now offering Skype and phone consultations Australia wide.
